Do you know a family where a healthy child grows up alongside a child with a disability? Or does this topic directly affect your own family?
On Friday, April 25, at 7:00 PM, we will be screening the sensitive Czech documentary The Other One, about so-called glass children - siblings of children with disabilities who have to cope with the high demands placed on them by life with a disadvantaged brother or sister.
The panel discussion will feature early intervention specialist Michaela Svobodová from Nové Město’s Portimo organization and local resident Jana Bukvová, who grew up with a disabled sister. The discussion will be moderated by Ivona Čermáková.
