Just Jools

(Just Jools)

Jools’ dream is to become a dancer. With the help of her teacher, the twelve-year-old gradually discovers how to overcome her physical limitations, gain self-confidence, and find joy in movement.

When Jools dances, she feels happy, yet vulnerable. She’s afraid to share her passion with the world, and she’s ashamed of her own movements because they look different from everyone else’s. But all that changes when she meets Yorritha, a choreographer who had to relearn how to control his body after suffering a stroke. Aside from showing her new moves, he also teaches Jools how to open up to the world and be less hard on herself. After all, there’s no such thing as good dancing or bad dancing, just the joy of movement and listening to one’s own body.
