Getting there
Public transport: The Modřany stop is served by tram, train, bus, or ferry. The cinema is about 150 meters from the stop and is easily recognizable by the large "KINO" sign on its roof.
By car: Parking is available in the nearby area, but be cautious of thefts in the underpass and the small parking lot above it.
Amenities
Inside the Modřany Cinema space, you'll find Kino Modřanský Biograf and the Jemné Kino business, where our colleagues offer refreshments, beer, lemonade, and a selection of quality wines that you can take into the theater or enjoy before the film in the bistro area.
Our cinema is fully accessible and offers several reserved spots directly in the hall. The building can be accessed via a wooden ramp or an electric lift for wheelchair users. People with ZTP (disability card) get free entry.
The hall has a capacity of up to 200 seats and is fully air-conditioned, with heating and cooling provided by heat pumps.
Equipment
Access ramp for building entry.
Wheelchair-accessible hall and restrooms.
Special seating for wheelchair users.
We allow dogs, although we’re not big fans, as we believe dogs don’t belong in cinemas (due to the noise, tight space, etc.). However, service dogs are, of course, an exception.
Tickets
The box office is open one hour before the start of the performance and closes 15 minutes after the last performance of the day.

About Organizer
The Modřany Cinema first welcomed its audience in 1919 as one of the first permanent cinemas in what is now Prague. Originally named Bio Lido, it was located in the People's House (Lidový dům). At that time, films were, of course, silent, and the projectionist had to manually turn the crank of the projector. Today, the cinema operates digitally and is run by Kino Modřany s.r.o. It offers a 200-seat auditorium with full wheelchair accessibility. Regular screenings take place every day after 17:00, and on weekends from 12:00. Under its current management, the cinema actively participates in various cultural events, including the One World festival.
